INSULATED GLASS SKYLIGHTS

  • A durable aluminum exterior, in your choice of – Bronze, Mill Finish or White

  • A low profile, sleek look that blends with the roof line!

  • Extra wide 4″ nailing flange – no multi-piece kits, like most other skylights

  • Dual pane, LoĒ³-340, Argon-filled double insulated – 7/8″ tempered glass – for maximum thermal protection

  • Select wood interior or PVC frame – for energy efficiency and traditional styling

The solar performance of LoĒ³-340 glass is unprecedented in a double-pane Sun-Tek unit – no room-darkening tint required. With its SHGC of just 0.18, it greatly reduces oppressive solar heat gain. And wherever glare is a problem, LoĒ³-340 controls that as well. Then when cold weather rolls around, its low U-Factor reduces indoor heat loss.

We built our reputation on our PolyDome Skylight line and we continue to evolve and expand this range, including our new Sun-Tek Sapphire prism dome that has become an instant favorite by adding a distinctive, modern flair to each finished project.
 
If you’re looking for an economical and durable skylight, the insulated Polydome Series is for you.

  • Sun-Tek PolyDome Series Skylights are distinguished by their easy installation and their long-wearing durability.

  • The PolyDome Series is made with Palram Palsun polycarbonate.

  • PolyDome Skylights are 30 times more impact resistant than acrylic skylights and 250 times more impact resistant than standard glass.

  • The Polycarbonate in our PolyDome skylights is the same product used to produce airplane windows and football helmets.

  • Sun-Tek PolyDome Skylights are UV stabilized for long lasting protection.

  • Polycarbonate skylights resist temperature extremes from a frigid -60° below zero to an oven baking +250° degrees.

  • The polycarbonate skylights are insulated, energy efficient and backed by 10-year warranty with a 20 Year “Corrosion Through” warranty on the metal curb.

How it Works – The Sun-Tek Tube gathers sunlight from a leak proof dome, bounces it down a light reflective tube to a lens cover that diffuses the sunlight throughout the room.

Everything is Included – You can install it yourself in less than an afternoon with easy to follow instructions! Everything you need is in the box – even the special leak proof sealant!

No Construction Mess – The Sun-Tek Tube easily slips between rafters or trusses for quick installation without turning your home into a construction site.

COMMERCIAL SKYLIGHTS

For almost 50 years Sun-Tek has been manufacturing the most complete line of high standard – residential sky-lighting here in the United States. We are now offering this same great assurance in the commercial skylights version.

We have engineered our dome to wrap all the way down the curb portion of the unit for added water diversion. In addition, it is fastened through the polycarbonate for increased strength and durability.
