Selecting the Perfect Sun-Tek Skylight

1. CHOOSE THE RIGHT MODEL FOR YOUR ROOF
Curb Mount models are installed on a curb (a raised frame of wood built around the roof opening) while Self Flashing models are manufactured with a built-in curb, allowing for an easier, time-saving installation.2. CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR YOU ROOM
We recommend one square foot of skylight for every 20 square feet of floor space. We’ve highlighted our most popular sizes – they’ll look great in any room. Use one in a small bath or laundry, use 2 or more for a stunning architectural effect in almost any room!3. CHOOSE YOUR PANE COLOR

Outer Pane Options:

  • C – Clear – For best light transmission (on Select sizes)
  • B – Bronze – Transparent bronze reduces heat and glare

Inner Pane Options:

  • C – Clear – For maximum light transmission

4. CHOOSE THE FRAME COLOR

  • B – Antique Bronze
  • W – White
  • N – Natural Aluminum

5. CHOOSE THE NUMBER OF PANELS

Double Panels are Standard

C – indicates a triple panel

FOR EXAMPLE: “FGC 2222 B/C/C B” is our Fixed Glass Classic 22’x22” skylight with a bronze outer pane, a clear inner pane, a triple outer panel and a bronze frame.

Roof guideSize Chart

Now that you’ve gone through the selection process, you probably know exactly what you’ll need to place your order. The only other decision now is to decide how many Sun-Tek skylights per room you’ll need (We suggest 1sq.ft. of skylight for every 20 sq.ft. of room area). For example, a room measuring 12’x15′ or 180 sq.ft. would require 9 sq.ft. of skylight. (refer to the sizing chart #3 above)
