base is one solid piece of aluminum - it can't possibly leak !

ridges are really important, they're patented WATER DIVERSION
CHANNELS - they guide water off the skylight
to prevent leaks. You only get them on a Sun-Tek Skylight.

a look at the corners, they're heliarc-welded, so the joints are permanently
fused - NO CHANCE OF A LEAK HERE !

glass units are a 7/8" Swiggle Seal® insulated joint with Argon.
